why human centered design

At Civilla, we use this image of “the person on the path” to illustrate one of the core ideas of human-centered design. It shows how solutions are often designed to address institutional challenges and rarely put the people they are trying to serve at the center of their decision-making process.

Human-centered design is a different approach. It focuses on building a deep understanding of people’s lived experiences and creating solutions that best meet their needs.
