Alaina Curry

Alaina works alongside the team as Civilla's Communications Manager, where she multiplies the impact of our work through thoughtful and intentional storytelling.

Alaina's experience in social impact communications started at Change.org - the largest online petition platform in the world. During her time there, she spearheaded comms strategy for high-profile campaigns including Justice for George Floyd, which won her a Fast Company award. Prior to that, she started her career in Las Vegas, where she represented several hotel and luxury brands at the city’s top PR agency.

As a proud Texas native, Alaina received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications-Public Relations from Texas State University and currently lives in Dallas.

Driven by stories (big and small), you can probably find a piece of your own in Alaina’s daily journal writing. She has kept every personal journal for the last 10 years.
