Brianna Snitchler

Brianna’s journey to design started with her love for the movie Monsters Inc. Inspired by the movie and the idea of riding a Razor scooter around the Pixar offices, Brianna decided to grow up to be a 3D animator. While the 3D artist path wasn’t quite right for Brianna, she did find a calling in design and the opportunities it provides to connect dots, remove barriers, and create real systems change. 

That love for design has brought Brianna to career roles including autonomous vehicle research and prototyping at Ford, the First Mile business and technology incubator team at General Motors, and a UX innovation designer at IBM helping clients find the products that were right for them. While at IBM, Brianna also developed inclusive design processes, supported the development of an inclusive design certification program, and mentored underrepresented college students through the IBM Accelerate Design program.

As a design lead at Civilla, Brianna currently supports Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance Agency, designing solutions to improve unemployment insurance delivery in Michigan. 

Outside of design, Brianna has a deep love for music and how it can be used for both communication and healing. She’s also an ordained minister and has officiated 2 weddings (so far).
