Kirsten Bondalapati

As a design lead, Kirsten Bondalapati’s expertise is in health and human services. She currently leads the team’s work to streamline benefits delivery in Connecticut. Previously, she contributed to Civilla’s bold effort to enable same-day processing for benefits delivery in Michigan.

Kirsten’s been championing human-centered design long before Civilla. She previously designed and led courses on the topic for the Henry Ford Learning Institute. Prior to that, she spent seven years working in public health–both on the research and analytics side, and in community engagement and policy.

Kirsten holds a master’s in public health from Emory University and a BA from the University of Michigan. She’s a former Challenge Detroit Fellow and recent golf-lover. Outside of work, you can catch her at the driving range perfecting her swing.
