When COVID-19 hit, the system was overwhelmed—more than one million claims were filed in March 2020 alone. A complex web of information left workers and employers scrambling for answers on how to navigate the process.
Civilla partnered with UIA to simplify access to unemployment benefits. Working side by side with claimants, employers, and staff, we designed a clear claimant roadmap and an employer help center—making information easier to find and processes easier to follow.
To ensure a successful public launch, we engaged staff across departments, prepared solutions for technical implementation, and supported UIA leadership in communicating the changes statewide.
